New Members

We offer the opportunity for any motorcyclist to improve their riding skills and when the high standard is achieved, support and encouragement is offered to you throughout your advance riding test.
We recognise the importance of keeping your skills up to scratch, so we make sure our club offers riders ample opportunitys to attend ride outs and another social activities including Saturday and Mid week Ride outs and some tours. Our Green badge members social side may well extend your motorcycling horizons!

Club nights are intended to be highly interactive with guest speakers, debates on the “grey” areas of bike riding and quizzes to test your knowledge.

Membership application forms are available to Existing I.A.M.Green Badge Members wishing to join Rotherham Advanced motorcyclist, please contact Membership secretary Derek Cumbers at derekcumbers@talktalk.net or club Secretary, Owen Wright owenwright@webmail1.com

Members joining us through the I.A.M. Skills for Life package should nominate Rotherham Advanced Motorcyclists as your preferred group when completing your I.A.M. Forms. They will take care of the rest and we will contact you when your registration is sent to us.

If you want to make informal enquiries either contact any of the clubs officials or turn up for a coffee on any Saturday morning at our ride out meeting place. Details are to the right of this page.

During the winter months (October to March) you can attend our club night held monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at The Three Horse Shoes, Bawtry Road, Wickersley (Map below).
During the summer months we ride-out from the McDonalds at Bramley (M18 Junc1 / A631).

Head towards Rotherham on the A631
At the first roundabout straight on.
Right hand lane into slip road and turn right across carriageway.
Three Horse Shoes is to your left.

If you can’t make a Saturday morning for your riding skills development we have limited opportunities for Associates to be offered a week day ride out. The Guidance Secretary will arrange this for you.
